How you can earn points: You’ll earn points on purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds, made with a Marriott Bonvoy® credit card by you or an authorized user of the account. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won’t count and won’t earn points: balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. 6 points (“6X points”): You’ll earn 6 points for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®. Go to marriottbonvoy.com/about for a list of hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy. You will only receive the accelerated earn of 6 points for each $1 spent from the credit card program. Additional points received under the Marriott Bonvoy program for stays at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy will be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy program. Marriott Bonvoy is responsible for ensuring all hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy are correctly reported to Chase for earn on Marriott Bonvoy credit card purchases. 4 points (“4X points”): You’ll earn 4 points for each $1 spent on purchases in the following rewards categories: restaurants; gas stations; shipping; and internet, cable, and phone services. 2 points (“2X points”): You’ll earn 2 points for each $1 spent on all other purchases. Information about earning/transferring points to Marriott Bonvoy: Points earned during a billing cycle will be automatically transferred to Marriott Bonvoy after the end of each billing cycle. Points expiration: The points transferred to your Marriott Bonvoy account won’t expire as long as there is card earning activity or other qualifying earning or redemption activity every 24 months. If your card account is closed, you’ll lose the points in your Marriott Bonvoy account if you don’t have any other qualifying earning or redemption activity every 24 months. Losing points: You’ll immediately lose all points that haven’t been transferred to Marriott Bonvoy if your card account status changes, or your card account is closed for program misuse, fraudulent activities, failure to pay, bankruptcy, or other reasons described in the terms of the Rewards Program Agreement. Rewards Categories: Merchants who accept Visa/Mastercard credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa/Mastercard procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Please note: We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won’t qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category. Purchases submitted by you, an authorized user, or the merchant through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology will not qualify in a rewards category if the technology is not set up to process the purchase in that rewards category. Adding An Employee Card: If any employees are allowed to use the account, they will be authorized users and will have equal charging privileges unless individual spending limits are established for them. You, as the Authorizing Officer, together with the company are responsible for any use of the account by you, an authorized user or anyone else permitted to use the account. You, together with the company, are responsible for repaying all balances on the account. All correspondence, including statements and notifications, will be sent to you as the Authorizing Officer. By requesting to add an employee cardholder to the account, you represent all information provided is accurate and is for persons with which the company has a relationship. You also represent that the company has permission to provide the employee information to Chase and to add the employee as a cardholder. If Chase determines any information provided is fraudulent, Chase has the right to close the account.
Small Business Cardmember Rates: Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Card cardmembers can receive an exclusive, preferred rate (“SMB Rate”) when they book eligible rooms directly through a Marriott Channel and pay for their stay using their Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Card. The SMB Rate is a 7% discount on the guest room Standard Rate, subject to availability at Participating Properties. “Standard Rate” means the publicly available retail rate offered by Participating Properties at the time of booking to individual guests. “Participating Properties” includes hotels which participate in the Marriott Bonvoy program, excluding stays at Design Hotels™, Marriott Executive Apartments®, Marriott Vacation Club®, Marriott Grand Residence Club®, Vistana Signature Network™, Vistana Residence Network, The Ritz-Carlton Destination Club®, All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy® and Homes & Villas by Marriott International®.
To be eligible for the SMB Rate, the cardmember must be the primary cardmember, have an active Marriott Bonvoy Member Account in good standing at the time of the stay, make an advance reservation, and use their Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Card to pay their bill upon checkout. SMB Rate reservations must be made via , the Marriott mobile app, or by contacting a Marriott worldwide telephone reservation center (“Eligible Channels”). When a cardmember books a reservation on Eligible Channels for the SMB Rate, they are eligible to earn Marriott Bonvoy points for their stay at Participating Properties. If a cardmember books their reservation online, they must be logged into their Marriott Bonvoy account linked to their Card account in order to be eligible for the SMB Rate. If a cardmember books their reservation by phone, they must reference the SMB Rate.
The SMB Rate may not be combined with other promotions, offers, or discounts, and is not valid for existing reservations or reservations for ten (10) or more guest rooms. The SMB Rate may not be used with qualified transient rates including government rates, negotiated rates, AAA rates, and the Senior Discount rate. Anniversary Free Night Award E-Certificate: Please allow up to 8 weeks from your account anniversary date for your Anniversary Free Night Award E-Certificate to be automatically deposited in to your Marriott Bonvoy® Account. Account anniversary date is the date that is twelve months after your account open date, and the same date each twelve months thereafter. Your Anniversary Free Night Award is valid for a one night hotel stay at a property with a redemption level up to 35,000 points. You are responsible for all incidental charges such as parking fees, and payment of mandatory resort fees at properties where resort fees are charged. For the list of participating hotels where you can redeem the 35,000 points, log on to redeem.marriottbonvoy.com/hotels or call the Marriott Bonvoy number on the back of your card. Your e-certificate may not be combined with cash or other Marriott Bonvoy points when redeeming for your free night, and may not be transferred, extended beyond expiration date, or re-credited for points. Each Anniversary Free Night Award issued will have an expiration of 12 months. To qualify for the Anniversary Free Night Award, your account must be open and not in default on your account anniversary date. Complimentary Free Night Award E-Certificate After Spending $60,000 in Purchases Each Calendar Year: As a one-time bonus each calendar year, once you reach $60,000 or more in purchases you will receive a Free Night Award E-Certificate. Purchases are when you, or an authorized user, use a card to make purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won’t count and won’t earn points: balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. Please allow up to 12 weeks after qualifying purchases appear on your account for your Free Night Award E-Certificate to be automatically deposited into your Marriott Bonvoy® Account. Free Night Award E-Certificate is valid for a one night hotel stay at a property with a redemption level up to 35,000 points. You are responsible for all incidental charges such as parking fees, and payment of mandatory resort fees at properties where resort fees are charged. Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card from Chase Elite Night Credits: On or before March 1 of each calendar year, a maximum of 15 Elite Night Credits will be credited to your Marriott Bonvoy® Member Account operated by Marriott International, Inc., in accordance with Marriott Bonvoy terms and conditions. To be eligible to receive the 15 Elite Night Credits with this Card, you must be the primary Cardmember, your Card account must be open as of December 31 of the prior year, and you must have an active Marriott Bonvoy Member Account linked to your credit card account.
This benefit is not exclusive to credit cards offered by Chase. A maximum of 15 Elite Night Credits will be awarded through this benefit per Marriott Bonvoy Member Account even if the Member has more than one credit card linked to their Marriott Bonvoy Member Account, unless you have both a small business Marriott Bonvoy credit card account and a consumer Marriott Bonvoy credit card account; then you may receive a combined maximum of 30 Elite Night Credits (15 per credit card account). If your Marriott Bonvoy Member Accounts are merged, if both accounts have received 15 Elite Night Credits, only one 15 Elite Night Credit will remain. Separate promotional offers of Elite Night Credits will not count toward this per-Account maximum but may have their own limits; see promotional terms at time of offer. Automatic Gold Elite Status: You will automatically receive Gold Elite Status each account anniversary year as a cardmember (“Account anniversary year” means the year beginning with account open date through the anniversary of your account open date, and each 12 months after that). Please allow up to 8 weeks from account open date for your initial Gold Elite Status award to be applied to your Marriott Bonvoy® account. To qualify for and maintain Gold Elite Status your account must be open and not in default. If you do not qualify for Gold Elite status as a cardmember, in order to receive Gold Elite benefits you must qualify for Gold Elite Status under the terms of the Marriott Bonvoy program. Only one Marriott Bonvoy® Credit Card account per Marriott Bonvoy member (Marriott Bonvoy member must be the primary cardmember on that account), is eligible for the Gold Elite Status award. Zero Liability: Zero Liability Protection does not apply to use of an account by an authorized user without the approval of the primary cardmember. If you think someone used your account without permission, tell us immediately by calling the Cardmember Services number on your card or billing statement.
Concierge Service: Cardmembers are responsible for the cost of any goods or services purchased through Visa Signature Concierge.
Account Alerts: Delivery of alerts may be delayed for various reasons including technology failures and capacity limitations. There is no charge from Chase, but message and data rates may apply.
Points accrued and awards issued are subject to the terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy® program. Terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy program may be modified and services and benefits may be added or deleted at any time without notice to cardmembers. Marriott Bonvoy points awarded through the use of the authorized user’s card will only be credited to the Primary Cardmember’s Marriott Bonvoy account.
