How you can earn points: You’ll earn points on purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds, made with a Marriott Bonvoy® credit card by you or an authorized user of the account. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won’t count and won’t earn points: balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. 3 points (“3X points”): You’ll earn 3 points for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®. Go to marriottbonvoy.com/about for a list of hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy. You will only receive the accelerated earn of 3 points for each $1 spent from the credit card program. Additional points received under the Marriott Bonvoy program for stays at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy will be earned in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Marriott Bonvoy program. Marriott Bonvoy is responsible for ensuring all hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy are correctly reported to Chase for earn on Marriott Bonvoy credit card purchases. 2 points (“2X points”) in rewards categories: You’ll earn 2 points for each $1 spent on purchases made in the following rewards categories: grocery stores; internet, cable, and phone services; select streaming services. 2 points (“2X points) on rideshare: You’ll earn 2 points for each $1 spent on purchases made in the following rideshare rewards category: taxicabs and limousines. 2 points (“2X points) on select food delivery services: You’ll earn 2 points for each $1 spent on purchases made directly through the following select food delivery services: doordash.com or the DoorDash mobile app; trycaviar.com or the Caviar mobile app; ubereats.com or the Uber Eats mobile app; postmates.com or the Postmates mobile app; grubhub.com or the Grubhub mobile app; seamless.com or the Seamless mobile app; delivery.com or the Delivery.com mobile app. 1 point (“1X points”): You’ll earn 1 point for each $1 spent on all other purchases. Information about earning/transferring points to Marriott Bonvoy: Points earned during a billing cycle will be automatically transferred to Marriott Bonvoy after the end of each billing cycle. Points expiration: The points transferred to your Marriott Bonvoy account won’t expire as long as there is card earning activity or other qualifying earning or redemption activity every 24 months. If your card account is closed, you’ll lose the points in your Marriott Bonvoy account if you don’t have any other qualifying earning or redemption activity every 24 months. Losing points: You’ll immediately lose all points that haven’t been transferred to Marriott Bonvoy if your card account status changes, or your card account is closed for program misuse, fraudulent activities, or other reasons described in the terms of the Rewards Program Agreement. Rewards Categories: Merchants who accept Visa/Mastercard credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa/Mastercard procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Please note: We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won’t qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category. Purchases submitted by you, an authorized user, or the merchant through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology will not qualify in a rewards category if the technology is not set up to process the purchase in that rewards category. Access to Chase Pay Over Time: Access to Chase Pay Over Time is not guaranteed. Your ability to create a Chase Pay Over Time plan is based on a variety of factors, such as your creditworthiness, credit limit and account behavior, and may change from time to time.
Purchases Eligible for Chase Pay Over Time benefit for Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card: Eligible purchase transactions for the Chase Pay Over Time benefit for Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card are purchases between $100-$5000 made at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy® or directly with airlines, and purchases of at least $100 made with other merchants. Eligible purchase transactions must have been made within the previous 90 days and may not include certain transactions, such as (a) cash-like transactions, (b) any fees owed to us, including Annual Membership Fees, and (c) purchases made under a separate promotion or special finance program. Chase Pay Over Time benefit for Marriott Bonvoy Bold® Credit Card Fee: For all eligible purchases between $100-$5000 made at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy® or directly with airlines, the Chase Pay Over Time® monthly fee is 0% of the amount of each purchase you select to pay over time with no interest. For all other plans you create, the Chase Pay Over Time Fee is up to 1.72% of each eligible purchase transaction or amount, which you select to pay over time with no interest just a fixed monthly fee. The Chase Pay Over Time Fee will be determined at the time each plan is created and will remain the same until the plan balance is paid in full. The Chase Pay Over Time Fee is based on the amount of each purchase transaction selected to create the plan, the number of billing periods you choose to pay the balance in full, and other factors.
Automatic Silver Elite Status: You will automatically receive Silver Elite Status each account anniversary year as a cardmember (“Account anniversary year” means the year beginning with account open date through the anniversary of your account open date, and each 12 months after that). Please allow up to 8 weeks from account open date for your initial Silver Elite Status award to be applied to your Marriott Bonvoy® account. To qualify for and maintain Silver Elite Status your account must be open and not in default. If you do not qualify for Silver Elite status as a cardmember, in order to receive Silver Elite benefits you must qualify for Silver Elite Status under the terms of the Marriott Bonvoy program. Only one Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card account per Marriott Bonvoy member (Marriott Bonvoy member must be the primary cardmember on that account), is eligible for the Silver Elite Status award. 5 Elite Night Credits: On or before March 1 of each calendar year, the annual Elite Night Credits (“Annual ENC”) benefit will be deposited into your Marriott Bonvoy® Member Account operated by Marriott International, Inc., in accordance with marriottbonvoy.com/terms. To be eligible to receive the 5 Elite Night Credits (“ENC”) associated with the Annual ENC benefit from your Marriott Bonvoy® Credit Card from Chase, you must be the primary Cardmember, your Card Account must be open at the time of the deposit, and you must have an active Marriott Bonvoy Member Account linked to your Card account. This benefit is not exclusive to Cards offered by Chase. You can only receive the Annual ENC benefit associated with one eligible Marriott Bonvoy consumer card per year, regardless of the number of Marriott Bonvoy cards that are linked with a Marriott Bonvoy Member Account and regardless of bank issuer. If your Marriott Bonvoy Member Account is linked to more than one open Marriott Bonvoy consumer card that offers the Annual ENC benefit, you will only receive the Annual ENC benefit associated with the card that offers the highest number of ENCs. If you have both an open Marriott Bonvoy consumer card account and an open Marriott Bonvoy business card account that each offer the Annual ENC benefit, then you will receive an Annual ENC benefit for each, for a total of two Annual ENC benefits per Marriott Bonvoy Member Account per year. If you have more than one Marriott Bonvoy Member Account that has received the Annual ENC benefit and you merge accounts, you will retain only the ENCs associated with one eligible Marriott Bonvoy consumer card that offers the highest number of ENCs as a benefit; and, if applicable, the ENCs from one eligible Marriott Bonvoy business card that offers the highest number of ENCs as a benefit. Separate promotional offers of ENCs will not count toward the per-Account maximum but may have their own limits; see promotional terms at time of offer. Chase is not responsible for offer fulfillment or the provision of or failure to provide the stated benefits and services.
All correspondence, including credit cards, statements, and notifications will be sent to the name and address on file for the primary cardmember. The primary cardmember is responsible for repaying all balances on this account. Authorized users will have the same account number and charging privileges as the primary cardmember but will not be financially responsible. Chase provides account information to the credit reporting agencies for all account users. This information could impact an authorized user’s credit score. When you tell us to add a user to your account, you’re confirming that you have a relationship with the person or people whose name(s), address(es), and date(s) of birth you’ve told us, that all their information is correct, and that you have their consent to add them. If Chase determines you’ve given us fraudulent name, address, or date of birth information or did not have such consent, Chase can close this account.

Zero Liability Protection does not apply to use of an account by an authorized user without the approval of the primary cardmember. If you think someone used your account without permission, tell us immediately by calling the Cardmember Services number on your card or billing statement.

Marriott Bonvoy points awarded through the use of the authorized user’s card will only be credited to the Primary Cardmember’s Marriott Bonvoy account.
