Narrator: With Ink Business Unlimited,

you get unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

It's so simple, you don't even have to think about it.

So, here's something else to think about for your business.

Sharon: I'm Sharon Bialy

and I'm a casting director with over 30 years experience

building award-winning ensembles for TV and film.

Casting for a film is a lot like creating

the right team to grow your business.

There's one great thing all ensembles have in common -

chemistry.

It starts with rethinking the way

you fill the roles on your team.

Maybe the hero isn't outgoing and energetic.

Maybe he's cool and collected.

Maybe she's cool and collected.

Try to identify people's individual strengths

and see how they can complement each other.

Actor: We would walk down to this pizza place...

Sharon: For example, extroverts are great,

but they benefit from introverts to help balance them out.

Now, to identify the best attributes,

you first need a sense of who that person really is.

When you're interviewing, try asking a question

that reveals their passions or what motivates them.

It will give you insight into their true character,

and helps you see who the right counterpart for them might be.

When you focus on finding new ways

to combine people's best strengths and shared values,

you'll build teams that work and work together.

Narrator: With Ink Business Unlimited,

you get unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

It's so simple, you don't even have to think about it.

So, here's something else to think about for your business.

Jerome: Drive! Stay in your drive phase!

There we go, 90 meters... five meters... Lean!

David: This is Jerome Avery, my guide runner.

Jerome: And this is David Brown,

the fastest totally blind athlete in the world.

David: I never knew how fast I could run

until I delegated my sight to Jerome.

There's no limit to how fast I can go

being tethered up to this guy.

Honestly, giving up control isn't easy.

I can't use my eyes like other people can,

so I have to trust him with it, fully.

Jerome: There we go!

David: As a small business owner,

you never know how far your business can grow

until you start delegating your trust.

Seeing how dedicated Jerome is to his craft

helped me trust him more.

Jerome: In order for us to work

we both have to be on the same page.

David: Him not only communicating to me,

but me communicating to him is key to our success.

And it's the same for a small business owner.

When you establish trust with your team and delegate

effectively you'll find new ways to grow and evolve.

Narrator: With Ink Business Unlimited,

you get unlimited 1.5% cash back on every purchase.

It's so simple, you don't even have to think about it.

So, here's something else to think about for your business.

Patricia: I'm Patricia Karpas, I'm an entrepreneur,

I'm the co-founder of Meditation Studio,

a five star app,

and I'm the host of 'Untangle,' our podcast.

As a small business owner,

you're working and thinking non-stop.

We call this the Monkey Line.

You've got this bubble over your head and there are all these

different things that we have to do

and so it's very hard to really stay focused.

Meditation can help untangle those thoughts

and find that place of stillness.

So it might seem counter-intuitive

to defocus in order to focus.

But it actually gives us this great capacity to be productive

and to perform at our highest levels.

When you run a small business

things may happen that you don't expect.v

Sometimes you become frustrated.

Meditation helps to intercept that auto-pilot response.

You can pause and respond more thoughtfully.

So when you learn to be more self-aware,

you're creating this culture where people feel

more heard and more respected.

I believe that as human beings we're much more productive

when we bring all of who we are into the workplace.

We started a lot of our businesses with our hearts.

So, coming to work with just our intelligence and just our brains

is only half of the equation.

We need to bring our hearts there to really continue

to fuel the passion that created the business.

Meditation isn't just something you do on the cushion.

It's a practice to teach you

to be more mindful out in the world.

I'm gonna show you how to defocus, reset your brain

and get more done.

Take a comfortable seated position,

sitting tall with your head reaching to the sky.

Feel yourself turning off the noise of the outside world,

turning your attention inward as you gently close your eyes.

Now inhale deeply through your nose,

one, two, three.

Deep into your belly.

And on your exhale, one, two, three,

release any stress or tension you might be feeling.

Pausing and slowing down your breath

can help to loosen the grip of tension and tightness

you may feel in the middle of a busy work day.

Know that you can soften and slow your breath

whenever you choose.

Thank you for joining our meditation today.
