50,000 Bonus Miles:
This new cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of this consumer credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of this consumer credit card who received a new cardmember bonus for this consumer credit card within the last 24 months. With this bonus offer you will qualify and receive 50,000 bonus miles after you make Purchases totaling $2,000 or more during the first 3 months from account opening. ("Purchases" do not include balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) After qualifying, please allow 6 to 8 weeks for bonus miles to post to your account. To be eligible for this bonus offer, account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. Bonus miles do not count towards Premier status. Calendar Year Bonus Miles:
As a one-time bonus each calendar year, once you reach $25,000 in Net Purchases you will receive 10,000 bonus miles. ("Net Purchases" are purchases of goods and services made by you or any authorized user on your account minus any returns or refunds, and do not include balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) Purchases you make with other United credit cards prior to becoming an Explorer cardmember will not count towards the $25,000 requirement. For your first year as an Explorer cardmember, calendar year means the period beginning with your enrollment date through December 31 of that same year. Therefore, you will have from your account open date through December 31 to earn the one-time bonus in your first year. Please allow up to 6 weeks after the billing cycle in which you qualify for bonus miles to post to your MileagePlus account.
Free Checked Bag:
The primary cardmember and one traveling companion on the same reservation are each eligible to receive their first standard checked bag free; authorized users are only eligible if they are on the same reservation as the primary cardmember. To receive first standard checked bag free, the primary cardmember must include their MileagePlus® number in their reservation and use their MileagePlus Explorer Card to purchase their ticket(s). First standard checked bag free is only available on United- and United Express-operated flights; codeshare partner-operated flights are not eligible. Service charges for additional/oversized/overweight bags may apply. Members who are already exempt from other checked baggage service charges will not receive an additional free standard checked bag. The primary cardmember and companions traveling on the same reservation are eligible for priority boarding; authorized users are only eligible if they are on the same reservation as the primary cardmember. Anniversary United Club Passes:
The primary Cardmember will receive two (2) one-time-use United Club passes after account opening and every 12 months thereafter. Each pass is valid for one (1) guest for one (1) visit when presented at any United Club airport location. United Club passes are not valid for use at United Arrivals Lounge, United Global FirstSM Lounge or Star Alliance lounges. United Club passes have no cash value, cannot be sold and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Each United Club pass is subject to the expiration date printed on the pass and must be presented for admittance to the United Club. You, as the primary cardmember, will earn a total of 1 mile for each $1 of Net Purchases. You will earn an additional 1 mile for each $1 of Net Purchases (for a total of 2 miles) where United Airlines is identified as the merchant on your monthly credit card statement. Therefore, United purchases on some discount travel websites and on board will not qualify for the stated rewards offer. ("Net Purchases" are purchases of goods and services made by you or any authorized user on your account minus any returns or refunds, and do not include balance transfers, cash advances, cash-like charges such as travelers checks, foreign currency, and money orders, any checks that access your account, overdraft advances, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, or fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable.) You will also earn 1 additional mile for each $1 of Net Purchases made in any of the following categories (for a total of 2 miles): office supply stores; restaurants; gas stations. Merchants who accept Visa/MasterCard credit cards are assigned a merchant code based on the kinds of products and services they sell. Chase groups similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Chase makes every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in its listed categories. However, even though a merchant or the items that it sells may appear to fit within a listed category, the merchant may not have a merchant code that falls within that category. Miles Don't Expire:
Your miles will not expire as long as there is activity on your credit card account, including paying your annual membership fee, and the credit card account is open and not in default. Upon cancellation of your credit card account your miles will expire according to the MileagePlus program rules.
The primary cardmember can use their miles to book award travel on any United-operated flight at the MileagePlus® Standard Award level as long as tickets are still available for sale; authorized users are not eligible. Saver Awards, awards on codeshare partner-operated flights and upgrade awards are subject to limitations, restrictions and blackout dates. Room Upgrades and Special Amenities:

Free Employee Cards:
If any of your employees are allowed to use your account, they will be authorized users and will have the same charging privileges as you unless you establish individual spending limits for them. You are responsible for any use of your account by you, an authorized user or anyone else that you permit to use your account. You are responsible for repaying all balances on your account. All correspondence, including statements and notifications, will be sent to you. By submitting this request to add a user to your account, you are agreeing the name and address provided are persons with which you have a relationship and are factual. If Chase determines the name and address provided are fraudulent, Chase has the right to close the account.
UNITED MILEAGEPLUS BUSINESS CARD PROGRAM INFORMATION:
This product is reserved for business owners. Individuals whose requests for this offer are not approved will not be enrolled in MileagePlus® through this request, although existing MileagePlus members will remain enrolled in MileagePlus. Employees will not be enrolled in MileagePlus as a result of this request. MileagePlus miles awarded through the use of the employee's or authorized user's card will only be credited to the authorizing officer's account. If a cardmember's membership in United's MileagePlus Program is terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of that Program, the cardmember will no longer be eligible to earn any MileagePlus miles for purchases using the United MileagePlus Card. Chase's sole obligation concerning the award and redemption of miles shall be to make a valid request to United to award miles to the cardmember's associated MileagePlus account. Chase disclaims liability or responsibility for United's failure to award or redeem miles to the cardmember's associated MileagePlus account after Chase has met its obligations to United in connection with such a request. Benefits are available as long as cardmember's MileagePlus Explorer Credit Card account is open and not in default. Upon closure of the cardmember's MileagePlus Explorer Credit Card account, all benefits will be canceled.
