Guests relished a weekend of fine dining and exceptional bourbon tastings with celebrity chef Hugh Acheson and world-renowned bourbon expert Fred Noe.
The weekend began with a reception on the rooftop terrace at Casimir's Lounge on Friday evening. Cardmembers took in the park vistas as they were treated to a selection of artisanal bourbon cocktails with exclusive insights from bourbon aficionado Fred Noe.
After a buffet breakfast on Saturday, guests had time to explore both the Historic District of Savannah and the manicured paths of Forsyth Park. That evening, they dined at The Florence — the exciting new restaurant from chef Hugh Acheson. Chef Acheson — a Top Chef regular, James Beard Award-winner and author — combined his Southern style and Italian flavors to create a set of sumptuous signature dishes. Dinner was accompanied by a very special bourbon tasting presided over by Fred Noe. As a seventh-generation Master Distiller and a direct descendant of Jim Beam, Noe has continued to carry on the family legacy of producing highly sought-after bourbons. It was the perfect way to celebrate National Bourbon Heritage Month!
Guests stayed in Southern luxury at the notable Mansion at Forsyth Park, Autograph Collection®. Located in Savannah's Historic District and steps from the famous 22-acre Forsyth Park, this iconic hotel is the perfect balance between 19th-century charm and modern elegance. Guests enjoyed a leisurely farewell breakfast at the Mansion on Sunday as they savored memories of a truly flavor-filled weekend.
