When you Pay with Points, each point is worth $.01 (one cent), meaning 100 points equals $1 in redemption value. There is no minimum points balance to redeem. If you don’t use points to pay for your entire order, you must use your Instacart Mastercard and/or Instacart credits to cover the remaining balance. You can’t use Pay with Points to pay for restaurant orders on Instacart powered by Uber Eats, Instacart gift cards, Instacart+ membership, alcohol, or prescription orders. Additional exclusions may apply. For valid returns or cancellations of any kind, your points will not be refunded. Points will be returned to you as an Instacart credit, redeemable only in the Instacart app or at Instacart.com. An additional temporary authorization hold will be applied to your Instacart Mastercard to account for potential changes in the final total due to special requests, added items, items replaced at a different price, and the actual weight of items. Your statement will reflect the final order total after order completion. You can’t Pay with Points for orders outside of the United States.

The primary cardmember is responsible for repaying all balances on this account. Chase provides account information to the credit reporting agencies for all account users. This information could impact an authorized user’s credit score. When you tell us to add a user to your account, you’re confirming that you have a relationship with the person or people whose name(s), address(es), and date(s) of birth you’ve told us, that all their information is correct, and that you have their consent to add them. If Chase determines you’ve given us fraudulent name, address, or date of birth information or did not have such consent, Chase can close this account.

This credit card and offer are available to you if you do not currently have the Instacart Mastercard® and have not been approved for the Instacart Mastercard® in the past 24 months. The account credit will automatically be applied to your Instacart account upon approval. In most instances, your credit will be available immediately upon approval of your application for the Instacart Mastercard credit card (the “Card”); however, in some cases it may take up to 10 days. The account credit offer amount may be used towards any order but service fees, handling fees, delivery fees, other fees, taxes, and/or tips may still apply. Cash Back and Points: “Cash Back rewards” are the rewards you earn under the program. Cash Back rewards are tracked as points and each $1 in Cash Back rewards earned is equal to 100 points. You may simply see “Cash Back” in marketing materials when referring to the rewards you earn. You may also see, “points” or “Instacart points” when referring to the points you can use. How you can earn points: You'll earn points on purchases of products and services, minus returns or refunds, made with an Instacart Mastercard credit card by you or an authorized user of the account. Buying products and services with your card, in most cases, will count as a purchase; however, the following types of transactions won't count and won't earn points: balance transfers, cash advances and other cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including an annual fee, if applicable. 5% Cash Back: You'll earn 5% Cash Back rewards for each $1 spent on qualifying purchases made using your card directly through Instacart.com or the Instacart mobile app including Instacart memberships and subscriptions. Instacart gift card purchases made using your card will not qualify to earn 5% Cash Back rewards. Points expiration/losing points: Your points don't expire as long as your account remains open, however, you will immediately lose all your points if your account status changes, or your account is closed for program misuse, fraudulent activities, failure to pay, bankruptcy, or other reasons described in the terms of the Rewards Program Agreement. Rewards Categories: Merchants who accept Visa/Mastercard credit cards are assigned a merchant code, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa/Mastercard procedures based on the kinds of products and services they primarily sell. We group similar merchant codes into categories for purposes of making rewards offers to you. Please note: We make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category. When this occurs, purchases with that merchant won't qualify for rewards offers on purchases in that category. Purchases submitted by you, an authorized user, or the merchant through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology will not qualify in a rewards category if the technology is not set up to process the purchase in that rewards category.
